Yea! for stuff I don't need!

I forgot how much I like shopping from time to time. And...I did something I've never done before...I bought expensive underwear!!! I have a feeling I might not be able to shop at Wal-Mart for drawls anymore.

I also bought a pair of funky jeans (hope I have the courage to wear them); they're all dirty with a dragon embroidered on them. squee!!! Two dress shirts and a pair of grey dress pants round out the experience. I'm so giddy right now.

So giddy. And The West Wing is actually on tonight.

Aw, you went shopping! Good, because I was tempted to but because of my limited funds I chickened out. BUT I still wanted to go shopping so I went shopping for a friend and bought her cool stuff. I figure if I'm going to spend my money, it's better if it's for someone else.

...that rationalization made more sense to me yesterday, for some reason... I want the new Dido CD, damnit!

...but that didn't stop me, now did it? And I spent $66 at Best Buy on Tuesday. Bought the Dido CD for myself. It's pretty good. Bought that and new Vertical Horizon and Bend it Like Beckham AND Series Finale of Dawsons. Wow. I was a spending machine this weekend. Eh, the clothes were on the store credit card, so...I'll pay later.

BTW, what are you thinking about WW this season?

Eh. I was getting scared that they were going to drag the "rescue" out into a THIRD episode. But it was so anti-climactic. Woohoo, we rescued her. It all seems so blah. Everyone seems kinda cardboard. I'm giving it two more episodes, then, we'll see. I don't really want to stop watching b/c I LOVE Josh Molina (since Sports Night), but I'm never home at night so I have the whole 'have to record' thing going.

Mmm, a DVD spending spree... My absolute favorite kind. Way more than clothes (I'm really bad with fashion and, you know. caring about fashion). I'm feeling particularly nostalgic lately and I'm dying for Willy Wonka but it remains on my Amazon Wish List for Christmas. grr.

My thoughts exactly. I started to wonder if the guys are subconsciously just calling it in now that Sorkin is gone. Or maybe consciously. *shrug*
