Okay, this may be the dumbest question ever, but I'm not savvy with the computer and the flist knows quite a bit. Is there a way to turn a .gif into a .jpg?

As long as the gif isn't an animation, I'm pretty sure you can use any paint program (Photoshop!) to just open it and Save As a jpg...

Maybe it's my crappy version of PS, but I saved it from a .gif to a .psd, then tried to save it from a .psd to a .jpg and it wouldn't let me. I should probably just suck it up and buy some new software. ;) Thanks for the help, though.

I finally got it. It was rather convoluted, but yea! I had to open the .gif, save it as a .psd, make a new .psd, copy the image to the new item, and save the new item as a .jpg. I have...wait for it...PS 5.0 LE, so not everything works. I knew I should be able to do it...just wasn't sure how involved it was going to be. Thanks again!
