Let me get one thing straight...vampires don't burn up in the sun...they sparkle? Okay.
Now...for the main event!
First, let me say, I'm sitting at work right now, and I watched after seeing Twilight last night and haven't rewatched. So I'm sure I'll have more thinky thoughts later. But for now...
KARA!!! Kara 2.0 as she will be known by me from now on. Oh, Kara (1.0), I hope you and Zak are together in the hands of the gods. And oh, Kara 2.0, when the scariest person you have ever known in the entirety of your life is scared of you...you are scary. I love the implication that she's not human and not cylon. The unknown MADE FRAKKING LEOBEN RUN AWAY. She is something else entirely and NOBODY knows what that is. Also, I love that she thought Lee would be able to deal with it. THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH ONE MAN CAN COMPARTMENTALIZE! Go to Sam! You know, the guy who said he'd love you no matter what! OTOH, he's dealing with his own stuff, so...
Dee. DEE. When she started crying on the beach, I said, "she's the final cylon!" So, I wasn't expecting suicide. Reflecting on it now, though, makes sense for "her as the representation of the fleet". Broken and hopeless. I feel it was appropriate. I didn't say I had to like it. Thanks, RDM! Hey, remember when Dee slapped Kara on the algae planet? Good times.
Even though I'm sure there are spoilers to the contrary, I refuse to believe Ellen is the 5th. Great cop-out! 12th as someone that is already dead is lame.
Dad, Mom, not everything is always about you! Save your people!
