Wait. Just. A damn. Minute.
Sep. 30th, 2005 10:18 amAre you trying to tell me that Sydney Bristow, who has cried her way through FOUR seasons worth of episodes, didn't cry once last night, with all the things that happened? I just...that doesn't compute.
And OMG...Serenity...NOW!
And OMG...Serenity...NOW!
Oh God, oh God, we're all going to die?
Sep. 29th, 2005 10:40 amHoly crap! Serenity's tomorrow!
Due to the miracle of science (inertia, mostly) and two separate accidents, I effectively punched myself in the nose at work last night. While my fist didn't actually connect with my nose, I do have nice bruises on both nose and fist. Why, yes, I am that clumsy.
And, because I'm turning into that old lady who can't program her vcr, I missed Invasion (saw Lost at work). Watched Over There...I've only seen two episodes, but I really like Dim (even though I question his intelligence at times...then I remember I basically punched myself in the nose). And Sgt. Scream. He's awesome.
Ooo. Payday!
I guess that's it.

They tell ya never hit a man with a closed fist, but it is, on occasion, hilarious. -Mal
I understand if you need to go prepare for that 'it's ten in the morning' issue. -Inara
I'm sorry, Dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk. -Simon
If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater. -Book
We gotta go to the crappy town where I'm a hero! -Wash
Monastic humor. I miss out on all the fun. -Wash
Smells like crotch. -Jayne
I am a large, semi-muscular man. I can take it. -Wash
One cannot always be one's self in the company of men. -Inara
My food is problematic. -River
This distress wouldn't happen to be taking place in someone's pants, would it? -Mal
Wash, tell me I'm pretty.
Were I unwed, I would take you in a manly fashion.
'Cause I'm pretty?

So, how important is the board in the storage of comics?
I got my Serenity #2s in the mail the other day and they were bagged but not boarded. Do I make a stink about it with the mail order place? Just curious.

Serenity quandary
Jun. 9th, 2005 09:07 amOkay...so the Serenity comics are on pre-sale. Nine different covers for the three issues (one for each character). Now, #1 and #3, I can deal with having just one of the covers, but I'm going to have to have all 3 for #2 (they're all GORGEOUS).
So I just go ahead and buy all 9, right? So I have the full set. It will only cost about $40...bagged and boarded, s&h included.
Thoughts?

...unless you are a fan of Firefly or Battlestar Galactica (or both).
Yeah, I understand, they're two different fictional universes, but it was all I could think about after I read that. And you know me, I'm an obsessor.
Question, Browncoats...
Apr. 27th, 2005 02:42 pmOkay...in the preview, the text says: "A passenger with a past" "Six rebels on the run" "An empire in pursuit"...Is this why they left Kaylee and Book out of the bulk of the trailer? Or is it six because they left Kaylee and Book out of the trailer?
Hmm...I need to go do some housework and stop thinking about it.
