Firefly Shout-out, Week 2

Lost: Let me begin by saying I got home at about 8:40 and saw WHAT THERE WAS TO SEE without any of the previous backstory. Wow. That made my brain hurt. I believe my thoughts were somewhere along the lines of "OH MY GOD, BOONE, NO!!!!" Followed by the more rational, "Please, let them be steps." It didn't seem much better when I went back and watched it in context, but...

Now I wish I had recorded the previous episodes so I could go back and see teh angst!

I'm also beginning to believe that the crazy black lady who thinks her husband is still alive was the most normal person on the plane...all the other normal people died and we were left with misfit pleasure island.

I do love the bile that spews out of Syd's mouth when Sloane's around - "The thought that I did something that might have given you a warm and fuzzy feeling makes me want to kick my own sister out of my house." You tell him Syd...but I think he's storing all of these up for a big "screw you" that could happen sooner than you think.

Syd totally knows Jack is up to something...that he'll do anything...but getting info out of Jack is like getting info out of a CIA agent...hey, wait...

"Sometimes you have to drive fast." I couldn't agree more.

Am I the only person who thought Bishop was being played by Dale Midkiff of "Time Trax" fame? It sure looked like him in the promos (What's your real name?).

Look at that cute guardian angel/conscience smile.

I am convinced that someone on the writing staff loves the Whedonverse...particularly Firefly. Syd was "talking on the phone" to JOSS!!! I'm just saying, next week...if there's a villain named Wash...I'm just saying.

Marshall told Vaughn to shut up, AND VAUGHN AGREED WITH HIM!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Yea! Agent Sean knows. And Vaughn was Mr. Smile-and-nod-knowingly this week, wasn't he? I was going to be pissed if they kept leading him on.

I didn't catch the song at the party until I read someone's comment about it. Although, the captions read, "You all, Everybody" by Driveshaft playing."


Overall, I'm very happy with this lineup...though it doesn't give much time to decompress.
