So, I made some goals for the year, chief among them to read 50 books this year. For some reason, it's the one I want to keep the most. I guess to prove to myself that I can do it. In what I find to be an utterly embarrassing admission, I have just finished book one. An epic, 137-page, YA tome called Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi #3, Underworld.
I was kind of concerned at the end of book two, because it became clear that Obi-Wan was going to stay in exile on Tatooine, and the rest of this series was going to follow the OCs that survived Order 66. But I plowed through it in less than a day. It was a pretty fun read. Jude Watson got to describe the temple, as it stands at the end of EpIII (The Room of One Thousand Fountains *weeps*), but also the under world (natch) of Coruscant, which is something I've wanted to see expanded for quite a while now. Both Obi-Wan and Vader made appearances...Awesome! (And scary). It ended on quite a cliffhanger, which made me glad book four is already out.
So, I'll be moving on to the next book in the series, then The Chronicles of Narnia (That's seven books, right?) Maybe I can get back on track...
