...I need more help. So, I'm slowly but surely plodding away at organizing both iTunes and my folders. GRRR. I know once I get it done, I don't ever have to do it again...I just wish I didn't have to do it the first time. On to the question, is there a was to search for and insert the album covers that won't show up in iTunes? Thankies.

There's Advanced-->get album artwork. Or if that doesn't work you can add it manually (as long as you have the picture on your computer someplace - you'll have to search it yourself) by clicking on the song and then Get Info. The far left tab is for art, and you can add whatever picture you want under that.

wow that was clumsy phrasing, sorry. "search it" meaning find the jpg yourself from wherever you can and put it on your computer. AND it should be the far RIGHT tab. *head desk* It's not even that late...

Yeah, "get album artwork" isn't getting it done. But I follow. I've been sitting here staring at iTunes for way too long, so I feel your headdesk.

yeah, I feel you. When I got my new laptop I imported all my music folders and for whatever reason iTunes didn't propagate the list right away, so I thought I needed to tell it they were there. I then promptly got TWO COPIES of everything. Yeah, it was just as much fun to fix as you expect...
