centerspireWe haven't had power since 7:30 on Friday night. That's not great, but not unexpected either. We did, however, have water. It wasn't full power, but it was enough to flush the toilet. Not so much anymore. No water, no power. It's like a wonderland. I got to take a shower at work this morning (finally). And if we don't have power tonight, we're going to stay at a hotel.
Well, got to see the damage to the neighborhood yesterday. Wow, we were lucky. 3 or 4 fences got panels blown out, some palm trees got blown down, but other than that, our houses don't look to have suffered some of the massive damage that others did. I think it's because we live in such a new community. Not a lot of old trees, houses up to code.
On a totally frivolous note, I miss Buffy and Angel. I know, I know. But it's a whole new fandom to explore.
