Well, I finally saw the final episode of Angel. I know I'm a few months late on this...didn't catch on to the whole loving Buffy and Angel (and Firefly, actually) until they were gone.
I love how Connor's story got resolved. I'm cool with Wesley dying (although I did cry, damnit). And (as if I had a choice) I'm resigned to the fact that they (more than likely) all died horribly and evil triumphed. What I'm totally not cool with is how it ended with Lorne. I get that he didn't really like the whole "Let's bring on the apocalypse" plan. I get that he didn't want to be a killer. I just...I don't know. I realize that this wasn't meant to be bunnies and rainbows, but his departure just felt wrong. I've loved Lorne from the second I saw him. But when he calls the work "unsavory" then shoots Lindsay and just walks out and that's it...I guess it makes him kind of unsavory...which I guess is the source of the disappointment.
I'll quit with the ranting. I have to be at work in five hours, so I guess I should get some sleep.
