Okay, gang, I need your help. Since all of you have much better taste in music than me, I need your help! I don't usually buy a CD unless it has 3 songs on it that I know are good, but my collection is so stale right now that I'm going crazy. I need some good tunes. That's where you come in.

Please convince me to buy (or talk me out of buying) the following CDs (and before you say anything about downloading...no, my computer and I have not yet reached the 21st century, therefore, I have no iPod, no MP3 player, get over it). Please tell me why you love or abhor:

I'm looking to purchase 3 or 4 in a sitting...any recs outside what I mentioned? I'm open as long as it's good stuff.

And, while I did leave the option open, you probably won't talk me out of buying American Idiot (unless you say it will make me want to kill my firstborn, then I might reconsider).
