I did make the cupcakes I promised Joe for his pre-surgery good luckiness. Is there anything better than a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing? I think not.

My mom gave me a shadowbox last year with that dress and two framed pictures inside...I dug the doll out of my things...it's sitting on top.

I love this picture for one reason...not because it's a birthday, but that the two men standing behind me are my grandfathers...and I don't EVER remember them being in the same room together.
