I'm just gonna say it...

That was my favorite episode of the season so far. There it's been said. I don't understand where all negative reaction is coming from.
Now, it's quite possible that I loved this episode because I have a HUGE crush on Starbuck.
That being said, there was some outstanding acting in this episode from the entire cast. The emotional outbreaks by Commander Adama the entire episode were just heart wrenching. The look on Lee's face when Zarek told him about his father...wow. How many emotions was that at once? At least three, I think. Laura having to own up to playing the religious card...haunting.
I loved Kara/Anders because it was just. so. STARBUCK. In light of what is happening next week, it was perfect. Just great. To see Kara smile, especially in an episode like this, is worth the turmoil. And she left her dogtag with him...I know some people thought it was cheesy, but RDM explained in the podcast that she was leaving part of herself with him. It was role reversal at it's best (I'll be back for you, Sweetheart) and I loved every moment of it.
And Katee Sackhoff can show emotion in a facial expression better than anyone. She's just a magnificent actress.
The music at the end of the episode was just beautiful. I can't wait for the Season 2 Soundtrack...and we're only a quarter of the way through.
I really didn't have any problems with this episode at all. But that's just me.
