Holy. Crap.
That's really all I can say because I don't want to spoil anyone and words don't do the picture justice. I bawled for the last hour of the film...i would cry, get to a place where I was okay, then something would happen that made me start crying again.
"I am no man." Hee.
And, when Legolas appeared for his final time in the movie, everyone, and this was a 500 seat theater, all the girls, all the gay boys and most of the straight ones gave a collective gasp. It was more than audible. It was one of the most hysterical movie going moments I have ever had.
Okay, that's enough for now. Kisses.

Oh yeah; I had that moment when the gang greets Frodo at the end. In that bluey-thing-a-ma-bobber... Wow. And I'm not even a goo-goo girly Leggy fan. I like him 'cause he kicks ass. Pretty boys aren't really my type. But one must give props to beauty cause the boy is just fan-fucking-tastically beautiful.
People in my audience were laughing as Gollum fell into the lava. I'm pretty sure it isn't supposed to be FUNNY, assholes. And I can't believe people still bring talking children to movies in this day and age. *am seeing it again tomorrow morning* (hopefully sans crying children, cell phones and talking people)

Date: 2003-12-18 10:44 am (UTC)I didn't like Gollum's victory dance. It was a little cheesy. But not funny. I don't know. I was going to say "that's Austin people for you," but I think you're back home, eh?
I really think I'm going to read the books before I go back to see it again. I don't think it will take that long considering I really WANT to read the books now, instead of just thinking I had to.
